North Bay Jung Group
As a Jungian Analyst, I specialize in depth-oriented psychotherapy with adults, teens and children. I am attuned to symbols, images and dreams as important to the therapy process. Licensed as a psychotherapist since 1994, I focused my training and practice on the intersection of the arts and psychotherapy gaining certifications as a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist and a Teaching Member of the International Society for Sandplay Therapy. I have worked clinically with children and adolescents in day treatment, school, treatment center, therapeutic camp and clinic settings. My experience with young people directly informs my work with adults of all ages, who constitute much of my depth psychotherapy practice.
I enjoy editing and writing, served many years as an Associate Editor of Jung Journal: Culture & Psyche, and am Assistant to the Editor of the Journal of Sandplay Therapy. I have published in the Arts in Psychotherapy Journal, the Journal of Sandplay Therapy, and Jung Journal: Culture & Psyche. I present nationally and internationally on the integration of Jungian concepts, sandplay, and the arts in therapy, and teach in the analytic training program of the C.G. Jung Institute of San Francisco. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Dramatic Art with an emphasis in Directing from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Expressive Arts Therapy from John F. Kennedy University. After many years of practice centered in the East Bay, my office is now based in San Anselmo.
